How do I create a test?
There are two ways to create a test:
|

1. You can copy or adapt an existing tests as follows:
- Click Take A Test on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Select a book, then find the particular test that you wish to use.
- Click on the Copy icon. This will bring you to a version of the test that you can assign as is, or edit if you wish.
- Allocate a title to the test which will make it easy for you and your students to find it later. We would recommend the following naming convention: Class Name, Date, or Class name, Number.
- You can now also adapt the test if you wish.
- Once you have completed your changes, click Save at the top or bottom of the page.

|
2. You can create your own test from scratch:
- Click on Create Test at the top of the Teacher’s page.
- In the Test Introduction box, give your test a Title and Short Description.
- If you wish to add a longer description or instructions for your students they should be added in the Test Details box.
- If your test is to be based on a single image, it should be added in the Test Image box. If it relates to a specific textbook, you can add the details in the Based on Book box.
- Questions: from the drop-down box, you will see that there are 12 different types of question available for you to use. TheeTest.ie Question Types link on the Teacher’s page will give you information on the different types of questions.
- To add a question to your test, select the question type from the drop-down menu and then click Add Question +. The next page allows you to enter your questions. You can add as many answers as you wish. Additionally you can give feedback to your students for both right and wrong answers. Finally, you can allocate differing marks for each question if you wish.
- You should repeat this process until you have the required number of questions in your test.
- Once you have completed the test, click Save at the top or bottom of the page.
